{"id":256704,"date":"2024-04-26T07:26:30","date_gmt":"2024-04-26T14:26:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldimagingnewslatino.com\/?p=256704"},"modified":"2024-04-26T07:28:06","modified_gmt":"2024-04-26T14:28:06","slug":"personalisation-and-production-on-demand-is-the-focus-for-epson-at-drupa-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldimagingnewslatino.com\/pt\/personalisation-and-production-on-demand-is-the-focus-for-epson-at-drupa-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Personalisation and Production On-demand is the Focus for Epson at drupa 2024\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Epson\u2019s Global President, Yasanori Ogawa, gets \u2018up close and personal\u2019!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>TOKYO | Japan &#8211; April 2024 &#8211;<\/strong>Global technology firm Epson is demonstrating the full capabilities of its commercial and industrial digital inkjet range at drupa in D\u00fcsseldorf this year \u2013 from large industrial label presses, wide format direct-to-fabric, dye-sublimation and signage machines to award-winning smaller, compact devices designed for high quality colour printing on a wide variety of materials and substates.<\/p>\n<p>Epson Global President, Yasanori Ogawa, will attend drupa and give a keynote speech on the first day entitled \u2018Up Close and Personal \u2013 Innovation in Digital Printing\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Mr <strong>Ogawa<\/strong> will say how Epson has \u2018reinvented itself\u2019 moving away from old analogue towards a more sustainable digital inkjet future: \u201cI will discuss the potential for digital in Commercial and Industrial printing, how this is more sustainable, less wasteful and meets a growing demand for personalised, more valued products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ogawa continues: \u201cThe pursuit of ever greater efficiency, compactness, and precision that Epson has embraced for many years goes well beyond just technology. \u2018Efficient, compact, and precise\u2019 (sho sho sei) encompasses an enduring philosophy of eliminating waste, reducing dimensions, and increasing precision. I believe that this approach will enable us to create even greater social value.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A major focus for Epson at drupa this year is how to meet the growing demand for localised on-demand production. As the industry moves away from analogue-based one-sized-all printing towards more personalised, bespoke products, the demand for high quality, compact and flexible printers for micro-production has never been greater.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duncan Ferguson<\/strong>, Vice President of Epson Europe\u2019s Commercial and Industrial printing division, adds: \u201cPeople are looking for beautifully designed, personalised items that brighten their lives and Epson aims to demonstrate how it has geared its manufacturing to meet this need.
